OSTEOproDENT Project Presented at the BioPharma & LabXperience 2026 Conference
The BioPharma & LabXperience 2026 conference provided an opportunity to introduce a wider audience to the OSTEOproDENT project, its objectives and its focus on developing an advanced solution for bone tissue regeneration in dental medicine.
The project “Research and Development of an Advanced Formulation for Alveolar Ridge Augmentation – OSTEOproDENT” was presented at the BioPharma & LabXperience 2026 conference, held on 2 June 2026 at Z Centar in Zagreb. The event brought together representatives from industry, academia, healthcare, laboratories and technology companies, providing an opportunity to introduce the project to an audience from a range of fields.
Introducing the Project and Its Objectives
As part of the conference programme, Dora Adanić, representing project partner Genera Research, presented OSTEOproDENT and its development focus in regenerative dental medicine.
The presentation focused on introducing the audience to the purpose of the project and the needs it aims to address. Insufficient bone tissue can be an obstacle to dental implant placement, and the project focuses on the research and development of an advanced formulation for alveolar ridge augmentation.
The project brings together Sartorius Croatia – Libra Elektronik d.o.o. as the lead partner, alongside the University of Zagreb School of Medicine, Genera Research d.o.o. and the Dario Bekavac Dental Clinic as project partners. By combining their expertise, the project integrates scientific, technological and clinical perspectives.
Bringing Research Activities to the Wider Community
Through its focus on biotechnology, laboratory practice and metrology, the conference brought together participants from different professions. This setting provided an opportunity for people outside the immediate field of regenerative dental medicine to learn about the OSTEOproDENT project.
The project presentation highlighted the importance of collaboration between science and industry in developing new approaches to healthcare needs. It also helped the audience understand why bone regeneration research is being carried out and the roles of the project partners.
Raising Awareness of the Project
The presentation at the BioPharma & LabXperience 2026 conference increased the visibility of the OSTEOproDENT project and informed a wider audience about its purpose and objectives.
Events of this kind provide opportunities to introduce research initiatives to the public and encourage interest in areas where collaboration between science, industry and clinical practice can contribute to the development of future healthcare solutions.
From biotechnology and laboratory practice to metrology, quality and regulatory requirements, the conference topics covered knowledge and approaches relevant to the development of the OSTEOproDENT project. Their application extends from research and development to future production processes, where precision, reliability and safety are essential. The conference thus provided a valuable setting for introducing the project to a wider audience and highlighting the connections between science, technology and practice on the path towards new solutions in regenerative dental medicine.
